About PolyQuant AI

I’m Vlad Rodeski. I build AI agents that do quantitative trading research in equities and crypto, and I publish what they find.

PolyQuant AI is where I share that work: rigorous, AI-assisted evaluation of trading strategies. Most of what I write is about what doesn’t hold up: strategies that look great in a paper or a backtest and fall apart on fees, overfitting, or out-of-sample. Finding out what fails, and why, is most of the job.

I’m a builder and a validator, not a signal vendor. I don’t post live edge, and I don’t reverse-engineer anyone’s book. The point is method and judgment: how an AI agent, under supervision, can read the research, test it honestly, and say what survives contact with real markets.

I spent nearly two decades building software in Silicon Valley and earned an MBA at Berkeley’s Haas School. Then I moved into crypto: first as Chief Investment Officer of a crypto fund-of-funds, then allocating capital directly to systematic trading teams. Allocating taught me how many strategies that look great on paper fail in production. PolyQuant AI is what I do about that.
